Pizza Hut Student Athletes Of The Week
Pizza Hut, Sullivan High School and the Independent News are proud to recognize seniors Brittany Moody and Frank Fitzpatrick as this week’s selections for the Student Athlete of the Week award.
Brittany, a member of the varsity volleyball team, is the daughter of Mike and Kenda Moody.
After graduation, Brittany plans to attend college and will major in Forensic Science. She has not yet decided where she will attend.
When asked about what she will remember most about high school athletics, she responded, “Mostly, the bus rides to and from games. We have had so much fun.”
Frank is a member of Sullivan’s varsity soccer team. He is the son of Frank and Kim Fitzpatrick.
After graduation, Frank plans to attend Missouri S&T and will be majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
When asked if there were any special memories of competing for SHS, Frank said, “Probably play, just having the opportunity to play for Coach Wiegers. He’s a great guy.”
The weekly Pizza Hut award is presented to Sullivan High School students on the basis of academic performance, athletic participation and citizenship.
