The Franklin County Commission approved three items for the county highway department Tuesday, June 10.
The county approved accepting bids for alterations to the county highway department maintenance building. Bids must be received by 10 a.m., July 15, with contract drawings available from Horn Architects, Washington, at a cost of $75.
The commission approved advertising for bids for construction of a concrete floor for the county highway department maintenance building in Gerald. Bids must be received by 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 15. Specifications for this project may be obtained by contacting the county highway administrator at 636-583-6361.
The commission approved a bid for rental of two soil compactors for the county highway department.
The bid was awarded to Roland machinery, Bridgeton, in the amount of $5,245 per month.
